Looking for Great Fly Fishing Instagram Accounts to Follow?

When you are away from being in the outdoors, there are plenty of great Instagram accounts to follow that will motivate you to get back into nature. We have been following several Instagram accounts over the last couple of months, and here is the list of our favorite Instagram accounts that you should consider following in 2020. The order of the Instagram accounts listed below is random and no indication of which are our favorites.

looknfishy

This is a great account to follow for 2020 if you haven’t started yet. Drew Ross does a great job of providing awesome action videos of catching fish on the fly and videos on how to ties flies. This is a great account to follow if you are a beginner fly fisherman because you can learn a lot from his videos. Follow Drew on his Instagram account or blog.

Garrison Doctor

If you appreciate great artwork, especially of nature, then Garrison Doctor is one account you want to follow. Garrison Doctor takes the art of fly fishing from the water to paper. His account is fun to follow because he has fun videos of him making sketches. There is a good variety of photos of fine art prints from the outdoors and his studio. The account also includes photos of more than just fish so that you won’t get oversaturated with pictures of trout. Check out more of his artwork here.

Fish for Change is a non-profit whose mission is “to use fly-fishing as a platform to make the world a better place by uniting a diverse group of students in wild fisheries where they engage in a variety of initiatives that promote Connection, Education, Conservation, and Exploration.” Their Instagram account is full of posts of their work in action around the world. Follow them on Instagram or visit their website to find out how they are more about fly fishing.

Trouts Fly Fishing

Based out of Colorado, Trouts Fly Fishing will make you want to pack up and move out there. They have a strong variety of different photos, including action shots, new products to add to your arsenal, and plenty of poses with beautiful fish. If you are looking for an entertaining account to follow, along with new products to tempt you, then this is a great one for you to follow.

Their Instagram account is fun to watch because they show photos of the whole fishing experience. Fulling Milling made the list because of the variety of different fish that they post from freshwater pike to piranhas. They also have a website that is full of great fly fishing content.

Fish Pond USA is a Certified B Corporation, which is a company that meets high standards of social and environmental performance. In short, their company is not just worried about making money but what impact they leave behind. They also made the list because they are not overloaded with pictures of poses with trout. If you live in Colorado, then you definitely want to follow Fly Cast. For one, there is nothing but smiles in these photos. The name says it all. Get Away Fly Fishing sends anglers all over the world to catch some amazing fish. It seems they have a knack for catching trophy fish. We still can’t believe the size of the tarpon they posted. Monster fish. Check out their website to learn more about them.
